FRIDAY NIGHT SHOES ~ The next horseshoe night out is this Friday, 11/8. We will be going to the Lighthouse in Rochester. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Narthex.
LUTHERAN HIGH TURNS 40! ~ Lutheran High is hosting a 40th Anniversary Celebration Service on Sunday, 11/10 at 2 p.m. in the school’s Chapel & Performing Arts Center. Pastor Stuenkel, Pastor Benning, and Pastor Theilen will be assisting with the service. Special music will be performed by LuHi musicians.
LADIES NIGHT OUT ~ Friends in Faith is inviting all the women of the congregation to their ladies’ night out “home remedy party”. This will be held on Tuesday, 11/12, at 6:30 pm. A complimentary meal will be followed by demonstrations on how to make homemade cleaning products. Door prizes will be awarded. Please RSVP by 11/10 by signing up in the Narthex or contact the church office at churchoffice@gsslcms.org or 496-3149.
ADVENT & CHRISTMAS DECORATING ~ Make plans now to come help clean and decorate the church inside and out for Advent and Christmas. We meet on Saturday, November 30th, at 9 a.m. Adults and Junior & Senior Youth, please come help. It’s a joy to work together to care for our church and to prepare for the Festival Season of the Church Year!
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH DINNER ~ Come and enjoy our (rescheduled) “No Silverware” Dinner at Pastor and Katie’s house. We meet on Saturday, November 23rd, at 5:30 p.m. Sign-up on the youth bulletin board in the narthex by Sunday, November 17th, please. What sort of food do you think they’ll make you eat with your hands?
ANNUAL SCHUERMANN ADVENT RECEPTION ~ Pastor and Katie would like to say thank you and wish you all a blessed Advent season by providing the refreshments in the Parish Hall on Sunday, December 1st. Homemade cookies, scones, and goodies will abound, so please plan on joining us after the service for a cup of holiday cheer!
