AUGUST VOTERS’ MEETING ~ The regular August Voters’ Meeting will be held on Sunday, August 18th at 6:30 p.m. In addition to regular business, the Board of Elders will bring for adoption a proposed change of status and duties for the Director of Christian Education position. Pastor Schuermann will have a brief report of the business of the 2019 LCMS Convention, as well as some other information related to the change in DCE duties and coverage of the work of the Gospel here at Good Shepherd.
YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITIES ~ See the sign-up sheet on the youth bulletin board for some small group youth activities in August. Various activities are planned such as service projects, lunch or treat outings, movies, etc. If you need help getting a ride, please speak with Betsy – she’ll be happy to help! Watch your texts/emails as we might try to sneak in one last pool party for both Jr. High and High School youth before baby Lash is born!
ST. PAUL’S MISSIONARY JOURNEYS PRESENTATION ~ Rev. Dr. Ken Schurb will present on Saturday, 9/7, from 9am-3:30pm, at Camp CILCA.
