GAME NIGHT ~ All are welcome to come enjoy dinner and an evening of games together on Friday, 9/6 beginning at 6 p.m. Pizza and drinks will be provided; please bring a side or dessert to share. You may bring your favorite board game or card game to play or join in on a game with others! Sign-up on the bulletin board today!
SANCTUARY CHOIR & BAND ~ Help with the music of the Divine Service! Be a part of the Sanctuary Choir or Sanctuary Band. Rehearsals begin soon:
– Choir (Wed. 5:45–6:45): Sep 11, 18, and 25
– Band (Sun. 6:00-6:30): Sep 22 and 29

YOUTH CATECHESIS ~ 7th-grade catechesis will begin on Sunday, September 22nd. Pastor Schuermann will be visiting all the 5th- and 6th-grade families in the next couple weeks to talk about youth catechesis and some changes being put in place over the next year. Pastor will also be visiting the 7th-grade families over the next couple weeks in preparation for instruction continuing.
ADULT CATECHESIS ~ An adult instruction class will begin in late September and run through the fall. We’ll meet on Sunday evenings from September 29th until early December. This class will cover the six chief parts of the Christian Faith, and serves to prepare adults for communion at Good Shepherd. Interested? Want to invite someone? Speak with Pastor Schuermann.
CAMP CILCA CHICKEN FRY ~ Hungry? Try the best fried chicken around! The Camp CILCA Chicken Fry and Auction is today from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The live auction starts at 1 p.m. sharp. The Trading Post and beach will be open too. Have a great meal, checkout the auction items, and see what is coming up next at CILCA. See you there!
ST. PAUL’S MISSIONARY JOURNEYS PRESENTATION ~ Rev. Dr. Ken Schurb will present on Saturday, 9/7, from 9am-3:30pm, at Camp CILCA. Registration is $10.00 which includes lunch.
