40 YEARS OF GOD’S BLESSINGS ~ Come on August 4th to Divine Service and then a special reception in the Parish Hall, celebrating 40 years since a group of Christians met here in Sherman seeking to plant a mission church. They did, and here Good Shepherd is today! Please bring some homemade cupcakes or cookies to share with the crowd. For information on the reception, speak with Paula Cunningham.
SLIDERS BASEBALL GAME ~ All are welcome to attend a Sliders game together on 8/2. There is a sign-up sheet posted, but everyone is responsible for purchasing their own tickets. The game starts at 6:35 p.m. Hope to see you there!
YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITIES ~ See the sign-up sheet on the youth bulletin board for some small group youth activities coming up in July and August. Various activities are planned such as service projects, lunch or treat outings, movies, etc. If you need help getting a ride, please speak with Betsy – she’ll be happy to help!
SUNDAY NIGHT BOOK CLUB ~ We will meet again tonight, 7/28, at 7 p.m. This year we’re reading Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren. We’ll discuss chapters 7 & 8.
