SAVED THROUGH WATER VBS ~ Set sail for a fun Vacation Bible School on June 23-27 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Check out the VBS display in the Parish Hall for more information, registration forms, and volunteer forms. Please turn in volunteer forms by June 1so that we can place our t-shirt order. VBS work nights will be 5/16, 5/23, 6/6, and 6/20.

MAY REGULAR VOTERS’ MEETING ~ The regular May Voters’ Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 19th, at 6:30 p.m. Amongst the business will be an update and recommendation regarding the church sign repairs, following the direction of the special Voters’ Meeting held in early April.

SPRING PASTORS’ CONFERENCE ~ Pastor Schuermann will be in Decatur Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning for the official Spring Pastors’ Conference. He can still be reached via cell phone in the case of an emergency.

MAY YOUTH EVENTS ~ On 5/18 both Jr. High and High School youth are encouraged to attend our monthly youth night. Join us for dinner, a devotion, and games. Jr. High youth are invited to play a round of mini golf on 5/19 from 1:00-3:30. Please bring $8 to play plus any money you would like to spend on snacks. Sign-up sheets are posted for both events on the youth bulletin board. Invite a friend! Hope to see you there!

DEDICATION OF ADAM CLACK MEMORIAL TREE & BENCH ~ You are invited to a dedication to be held on Wednesday, 5/15 at 7 p.m. at the amphitheater (large pavilion, if raining) at the new Sherman Village Park. Special music will be by the students who played French horn with Adam and memories will be shared. His bench and tree are situated adjacent to the north end of amphitheater.

PART-TIME LCMS JOB ~ The Central Illinois District Office in Springfield is seeking a qualified individual to fill the part-time position of Receptionist/Office Assistant. Hours are from 10 am until 2:30 pm. Starting wage is $15/hr. for a 20-hour work week. There are no benefits being offered. The successful applicant will have a background in Microsoft Office, especially, Outlook, Word, and Excel. For a job description, application, or questions, contact mmiller@cidlcms.org.

PETER PAN ~ Come out for a night at the Muni to enjoy Peter Panfeaturing Roman Zemaitis on 6/7. In order to qualify for the group rate of $16/ticket in the reserved section, we will need at least 25 people signed up by 5/17. Sign-up today!

MAY SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERINGS ~ Our May Sunday School Offerings project will support Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry. The Comfort Dogs are working animals, trained to interact with people of all ages and circumstances who are suffering and in need. Look for a special visit from Dinah Comfort Dog during Sunday School on 5/19!

FRIDAY NIGHT SHOES ~ The next horseshoe night will be Friday, May 17. We will go to Public House 29 (312 Sattley Street in Rochester) at 6 pm. A sign-up sheet is available in the Narthex.
