ASCENSION DIVINE SERVICE ~Ascension Day is Thursday, May 10th. Please plan to come to Divine Service that evening at 7 p.m. There will also be a meal offered at 6 p.m., and we hope you will also come and enjoy supper together before we have the Supper together!
MAY VOTERS’ MEETING ~Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 20th at 6:30 p.m. for our regular May Voters’ Meeting. New Business on the agenda will include a proposed overture to the District Convention asking for a review and report of the Synod restructuring of 9 years prior; and a proposal from the Board of Elders for part-time pastoral assistance in the parish. District President Rev. Mark Miller will be our guest at the meeting.
SPECIAL STOVE OFFERING ~ As of April 29, special contributions of $3835.00 have been received towards covering that cost ($86.10 short of covering the cost). If you would like to contribute to cover the cost of the new stove, special gift envelopes are available on the table in the narthex.
EVENING DIVINE SERVICE SURVEY ~The Board of Elders has mailed out a survey to the entire congregation. The survey is studying the need in the congregation for either a Sunday or Saturday evening service. Please look for this survey letter in the mail, discuss and consider it in your household, and then return the survey. An online option is also available (see the letter for the website address). We’d like to hear from as many households of the congregation as possible! The Board of Elders will be studying and discussing this throughout the summer. Please return your household surveys by Sunday, May 27th.
