Easter Day will begin with breakfast at 7:45 am and Easter Festival Service will begin at 9 am.

We invite you to join us for these services as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior! Pastor James Stuenkel will lead all of these services.

We have spaces available for both the three year old and four year old classes.

The preschool began over 35 years ago, and we are excited to still be able to offer these classes to the families in the community.

We should note there will be no communion at this service.

This is a good time to gather and give thanks for all that we have. The choir will be singing “Now, We Thank You Lord”.

“For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land.” Have we received any less than the sons of Israel in this great and glorious land? We are so very blessed! Let us then outdo even the sons of Israel in giving thanks! Deuteronomy 8:7

]]> Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat https://gsslcms.org/2025/09/fall-festival-trunk-or-treat-2/ Tue, 30 Sep 2025 14:03:07 +0000 https://gsslcms.org/?p=7637 Our annual fall festival and Trunk or Treat will be held on Sunday, October 26 beginning at 4 pm. Children are welcome to come and enjoy receiving treats from all the participants in the parking lot!

Then, at 5 pm, there will be a wiener roast/potluck. Hotdogs, drinks and s’mores wll be provided. You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and a side dish to share.

We will have face painting, indoor games, bounce house and small pumpkins for the children to decorate.

In case of rain, everthing will be held inside the fellowship hall.

All seniors in the surrounding communities of Sherman are welcome to attend.

We enjoy providing these luncheons and we hope many will be able to attend. This is a good time for fellowship with other seniors in the community.

You are invited to join us for these services as we remember Christ’s death and resurrection. Pastor Joshua Theilen will be leading all the services except for Palm Sunday, when we will welcome Pastor Robert Barth to lead our service.
